This role is part of Front of House. The team is responsible for maintaining an efficient, professional office; ensuring all areas are set up for immediate use, all visitors are looked after, organising events as well as booking travel and accommodation for your colleagues.
Our working space is dynamic - people move between desk work, meetings, design and research sessions, etc. Keeping up with this changing environment and multiple demands for your time is a key part of this role and requires a person who enjoys searching for plenty to do, can prioritise and is a stickler for detail.
You will play an important role in our visitor’s experience of Foolproof. That includes greeting them at reception, providing refreshments as required and easing them into whatever meeting or session they have booked with us.
In addition to manning the reception area and switchboard, you will be spending time walking through the studio, project spaces, meeting rooms and utility areas to make sure they are clean, tidy, stocked and ready for immediate use.
Other duties will include providing support for company and team events, stock replenishment (stationery, fridges, kitchen etc.), providing travel and accommodation booking support, petty cash distribution and reconciliation, plus other ad hoc desk duties.
We all muck in here at Foolproof so you need to be willing to pick up a variety of different jobs and perform them all with a big smile.
Foolproof is a busy, bustling environment. You will need to be comfortable doing, and communicating, calmly whilst working with a variety of different people. As an observant person you’ll be able to spot when something needs doing and use your initiative to make sure it gets done.
The Office Assistant role will suit an individual who is passionate about people, delivering a great service and providing positive lasting interactions. Previous experience in a hospitality role is beneficial as you’ll understand the service environment and attention to detail needed.
