My role as a Junior Designer at Foolproof is to take the insights we gather about a particular problem and create user-centered solutions that meet both the users’ and business’ respective needs.
Before joining Foolproof I graduated from Norwich University of the Arts with a First-Class degree in Graphic Communications.
I work with clients across all sectors - applying design thinking to various layers of a product. From the underlying structure and interaction to visual aesthetic - design provides a painless and intuitive user experience.
Working at Foolproof allows me to work as an individual - generating my own solutions – and collaboratively with others, across the business. In my opinion, creativity is a collaborative process, with co-workers and clients alike.
In my spare time, I enjoy experimenting with creative coding to generate visual outcomes for both art and design; where possible I try to integrate this into my work at Foolproof.
I believe the need for designers to have an understanding of web languages is becoming increasingly essential and this is a skill set I am currently working to expand.
This knowledge helps with clearly communicating ideas between designers and developers, and easing the transition between design and build.
