My role at Foolproof is to ensure that the HR team provide an efficient and effective HR service to the business across the entire employee life-cycle. This includes recruitment, onboarding, career development, rewards and recognition, employee engagement and wellbeing, and offboarding. I am also responsible for ensuring that our HR policies and processes are not only legally compliant but reflect and reinforce Foolproof’s cultural values. What I enjoy most about my job is the opportunity to get involved in projects that make a positive difference to the company, whether that be creating a framework for measuring happiness at work or designing a line manager training programme.
I have over 15 years’ Human Resource Management experience. Before joining Foolproof I worked as a Senior HR Business Partner at Cognizant, a Tier 1 IT Services Company, supporting several Business Units including, Artificial Intelligence and Analytics (AIA), Cognizant Infrastructure Services (CIS), CommsMedia and Technology (CMT), and Life Sciences.
I have a broad generalist HR skillset with particular expertise and interest around employee relations, TUPE transfers, change management, learning and development, talent management, employee engagement and coaching. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Management Studies from Brunel University and an MSc in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST). I am also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and hold numerous qualifications in occupational testing.
In my spare time I enjoy travelling (experiencing different cultures and food), watching movies on Netflix and spending quality time with my 5 year old daughter.
