"I really enjoy being in a role where I get to manage and influence each aspect of the UX journey from scoping, design research and delivery."

As a Programme Manager at Foolproof, my role is to plan new projects, manage projects in-flight and ensure that projects are delivered to the expected quality, on time and within budget.

I manage digital projects in the Financial Services, Games Entertainment, Construction Training and Travel sectors and I really enjoy being in a role where I get to manage and influence each aspect of the UX journey from scoping, design research and delivery. I am Agile PM and PRINCE2 qualified, an ITIL Service Management Expert and have strong organisation and logistical skills which are key in my current role.

The role requires excellent people and communication skills, both internally and with clients, international agencies and suppliers. Prior to joining Foolproof, I spent 20 years in IT in the UK and Europe managing multi-million pound IT Serves contracts, leading large teams and delivering projects to a variety of business sectors such as Financial Services, Law, Investment and Manufacturing to clients such as Virgin Money, Herbert Smith, Aviva and Meridian Audio.

As an IT Service & Project Manager, I was the link between the client and the technical delivery teams and responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of services, within the constraints of user expectation and IT budgets. I’ve been able to transfer skills and experience gained in these roles and successfully apply them to project management within a digital agency.

When I'm not scoping projects, immersed in MS Project, managing project delivery and coaxing colleagues to complete their timesheets, I'm seeking out new music, travelling as much as I can and watching lots of top class rugby whilst representing the RFU as an Honorary Steward at Twickenham.
