As a Junior UX Consultant at Foolproof, I am responsible for gathering insights primarily through qualitative research. At the same time, I work collaboratively with the wider project team in order to cultivate the best possible user experience.
I arrived at Foolproof with 6 years of customer service experience, and training from General Assembly (delivered via the lovely Zoe Guiraudon) in my pocket. Whilst my experience has covered a range of industries - from veterinary care to barbecue manufacturing – my approach in my work has always had the user at its core.
My passion for tech and design lead me to discover UX, which perfectly encompassed both science in its research and art in its design. I have an affinity for the creative and the UX process helps to draw out that creativity in a useful and meaningful way.
The best part about what I do is speaking to a broad range of people across varying industries and topics and learning how people from different cultures and backgrounds have distinct experiences and expectations.
Outside of work, I’m a self-proclaimed nerd and I am heavily involved with the video gaming community. I am primarily a PC player, but I dabble with PS4 exclusives and the Switch from time-to-time.
When I’m not nerding out over the latest RPG, you’ll find me on my bike, barrelling down some mountain.
