In my role as an Account Manager I am responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences and building strong, meaningful relationships. Understanding customer needs, motivations and behaviours is central to the services we offer at Foolproof and this is also key to successful account management.
I manage a wide-ranging portfolio of multi-national clients across a number of verticals including insurance, financial services, consumer electronics and property. I work closely with our Strategy, Insight and Consulting team to scope bespoke service offerings for my clients. The nature of our work covers the spectrum of experience design services from discrete formative research projects through to full scale digital transformation programmes.
With each of my clients I develop a strategy and ensure that the delivery team are clear on the short and long-term objectives for the account and how we can drive the relationship forward. I make sure to spend time getting under the skin of the organisations I’m working with in order to understand their ambitions and how we can help them achieve these.
Putting yourself in the position of the customer allows you to appreciate their challenges and better identify new services or engagement models to overcome them. It is also important to get to know the individuals within the company and how you can help them realise their personal ambitions whilst also positively affecting their business.
I contribute to the development of the client service practice at Foolproof mentoring other members of the team and helping to establish new ways of working.
Outside of work I enjoy playing (and watching) football, running, playing records in my bedroom and binge watching whatever TV series I’ve become hooked on.
