I joined Foolproof as an intern after attaining a First-Class degree in BSc (Hons) User Experience Design at Norwich University of the Arts. After three months in this role, I transitioned to Junior Designer. You can read all about my experience as an intern here.
I worked in many different settings before University, including as a graphic designer at a small design company, a product advisor at a customer service call centre, and as a server and delivery driver at a fish and chip shop! I’m glad to have had these experiences before studying because it has provided me with a colourful and practical lens to interpret UX design projects today.
I enjoy engaging in each stage of the experience design cycle, but I naturally gravitate towards research and discovery. This comes from a voice inside me that always asks what, why and how, to everything around me. I have always been interested in blending technology and creativity, so being a UX Designer is a great fit for me. I am also part of the Service Design practice at Foolproof, expanding my horizons outside of my comfort zone.
Outside of work I enjoy cooking and eating Asian-inspired food, listening to really loud music, and watching films directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
